In the October issue of FightSport BJ Penn accuses George St. Pierre of being on Steroids.

BJ: "I dont think steroids or performance enhancement drugs have any place in the UFC and anyone who does that is a coward."
FightSport: "Why do you want a rematch with George St. Pierre so badly?"
BJ: Because I think he takes steroids and he's a coward (laughs)"
FightSport: "You really think he takes steroids? But he has been tested in the past and always passed."
BJ: "There are tests in Mr. Olympia and they pass."

Read the whole interview in issue #13 - October 2008 of FightSport.

Personally, I would bet the farm that GSP is on HGH. Why the fuck would he not be? UFC doesn't test for it and the tests that you do get in the UFC are right before the fight.

LOL at BJ saying they test for juice at the Mr. Olympia... yeah coke, opiates and barbs.

BJ is a douche, great fight, but a douche.

I'd be willing to bet both GSP and PENN are on GH.. Penn is starting to become an idiot with that mouth of his.

Size, Strength, Skill .. they all play a role. I don't care how good you are. If you are fighting a NCAA caliber wrestler who out weighs you by 65lbs chances are not very good that you will win. Especially for a guy like Randy who relies on his wrestling to win fights.

The way GSP threw Hughs around he had to be juiceing, hughs is strong as a ox.

You're an idiot.

He passes all of his drug tests.

He trains in one of the best MMA camps in the world.

He trains with the Canadian Olympic Wrestling Team.

He is in his prime.

He is one of the best pure athletes in MMA

Did I mention you're an idiot?

Ya..people are forgetting GP is still young. Remember when you were younger what you looked like :)

I think you are going to see a Hughes vs Serra match. Win or lose, Hughes is going to retire and focus on running his gym(s). IMO he isn't versatile enough to challenge for the WW belt anymore. His striking is so bad that it holds him back against the new breed of MMA fighters.

Easto is right on track with this.

Why did GSP win, because the guy is in his prime. Hughes was a good fighter and one of the best but his training hasn't changed and he's gotten older and younger and smarter fighters are coming up. GSP will be there one day and he is already noticing the calibre of fighters coming up.

I've been around people in martial arts for over 6 years. I've been around MMA fighters. I know of some on gear and some that are not. I've even had the opportunity to see GSP up close and train at one of his seminars prior to his Hughes fight where he won the belt and he does not look anywhere near as trim and hard as he does for a fight. In those last 3-4 weeks this guys works out hard and I give all of the credit to him.

In this day and age working out on some type of performance enhancement supplement is very common but I cannot say that GSP has or hasn't; or that Hughes has or hasn't. But until it has been proven otherwise lets leave the mud slinging out of this.

GSP is at the top for a reason; he's that dam good. He's tops in my book and I only wish I had the skill he had.

I'm just gonna use the knowledge of training and the understanding that men ar mortal to go ahead and assume both are on. God.... I love the world that I live in.
