Hey everyone, this is my first post and my first cycle using Geneza GP Test Enanth 250. 1cc injections every Sunday and Wednesday.
I will try and keep this short for you all. I started my cycle on 4/10/13 and pinned my right glute. All good, no pain, everything peachy. Two days later on Friday 4/12 I started experiencing a sore throat. Didn't think much of it. Woke up Saturday and felt a bit worse. Throat was more sore, but that's about it. Woke up Sunday 4/13 noticed that my left tonsil/throat area was a little swollen and it was painful to swallow. Started thinking maybe these were symptoms of "test flu" but everything I read said otherwise. Most people's symptoms were fatigue, muscle ache, etc...nothing to do with a sore throat. I basically powered through the day and did my other 1cc injection as planned for that day. So...that's 2 pins total so far. I woke up Monday and could not swallow, talk, eat or drink. Felt like the left side of my throat was coated with sandpaper.
At this point I'm getting worried...keep in mind it's only been a little over 4 days since my initial pin. I went to the hospital, had my fiancé explain to them what I took and we went from there. Fwiw, I am NEVER sick. Can't remember the last time I have even been to a hospital.
Got blood work done, EKG, CT scan, throat swab, etc. After it was all said and done, doctor said he found a small 2cm abscess behind my left tonsil. He and numerous other specialists DO NOT think that this is connected in any way to the testosterone I am taking...they said its just an odd coincidence...so that is reassuring.
That said, I still wanted your opinion on this matter because it seems awfully odd that this would happen to me almost immediately after starting my cycle. I am in overall good health. All my blood work came back great. Nothing out of the ordinary. I was prescribed an antibiotic, a steroid and pain meds. This was all late last night and I feel better already...just a bit nervous about pinning again tomorrow. Should I skip and wait til Sunday? Thoughts?
