please critique my diet....

Ok, I'm 30 years old. Currently 205lbs 6'2" tall. I do not know my body fat%. But I am definately a little overweight. I'm attempting to get down in the 190 range and see how i feel. I lift weights three times a week, and i do cardio (30-45 minutes) three times a week. Ok....

Meal #1:
Protein shake and banana

Meal #2:
Quaker Simple Harvest (all natural multigrain) oatmeal

Meal #3
Lunch - Typically Chicken or Fish, with either brown rice or sweet potato, with a veggie (broccoli/beans/brussel sprouts etc.)

Meal #4
Can of Tuna or chicken

Meal #5
Same as #3

Meal #6
Protein shake

Let me know what you think!! I do cheat probably one meal a week. Also, I love beer, but i'm staying away from it while i'm trying to lose weight. I might have a glass or two on my cheat meal.

Maybe throw some egg whites in during the morning, maybe instead of bananna. Also, at meal #5 you said it is same as meal #3, make sure you take out your carb during meal #5. Just keep meal #5 to a lean protein and a veggie.

And make sure you aren't eating after 6:30 or so... but when are you working out?

Best to do cardio first thing in the AM while on an empty stomach. And make sure you get your PWO in right after your workouts.

Maybe through in an ECA stack and you should see good results.

I am still trying to figure out everything I need to know about diets but everything I just said is stuff I have been told or read from other guys on here so hope it helps.

Thanks for the reply. I will take it all into consideration. I work out at 6:00pm. unfortunately due to my schedule it would be very tough to do my cardio in the am. I'd have to be doing it before 5 am. I would love to do it in the morning, but i just haven't been able to do it that early.
 
ketnar is right for the most part. dont have egg whites with your shake in the morning, have a 1/2 cup oatmeal and drop the banana. eat the egg whites with the oatmeal with #2. meal 5 and 6, add some fats like nuts or olive oil. and you can definitely eat after 6:30, thats ridiculous and a terrible diet technique. try to restrict your carbs before the evening.
