Protein VS Oat's

Latley I'v been putting one scoup of protein (instead of two) and 1 cup of oats in my protein shakes. the one cup of oats has 606 calories 29g protein. the one scoup of protein has 25g protein. what do you think about this?

The reason i'm doing it is because protein powder is so expensive I will be able to get twice as long out of a bottle by substitution a scoup with cheap oats.

Is there any disadvantage to this? I know all those calories but I'm trying to bulk anyways.
 
1 cup of oats having 606 calories??? wtf??? u sure you got that right buddy?
 
i cup oats is usually around 50g carbs 4g protien and 2g fats.. roughly...

thats about 230 calories..
 
yea 25g of protien for about 300 calories?? not a good trade off

the protien shake i use is 60g of protien under 300 calories
 
well... bulking isn't about eating crap.. or empty calories.. so if you can get a better shake and eat real food in the place of those crap calories i always recomend it..

though 600 calories for 1 cup oats and 2 scoops whey sounds right... but your macros seem off

why is ther 100g of carbs?? does ur shake have carbs in it?

is it a weight gainer?
 
your not understanding the screen shot there, that info given is for JUST the oats not a shake just pure oats with nothing added too it.
 
what kind of oats are these??? is there anything added to it?? like sweeteners??

they must be incorrect, look at the side of the oats. mine is 300cal, 50 carbs, 10 pro, for 1 cup
