This is grossly oversimplified, but there's no single best protein for every situation. Sorry.
You give this question to your average lifter ask them for the best answer they can give while being specific, and they will tell you 'whey protein.' But, as much whey protein as I use, I disagree with that response. What is the single best source of protein?
