Pullin routine is working great for me

well i am an ectomorph who needed some size.

I went to pullinbig and he set me up with a basic routine focusing on heavy lifts.

mon- legs

squats 1x8, 1x4
leg press 1x20
calf work

wed- chest\delts\tris

flat wide grip- 2x6
decline medium grip- 2x6
weighted dips- 2x10
side lateral raises- 2x10

frid- back
deads 2x6
bent over rows- 2x4
reverse close grip pulldowns 2x6
wide grip straight bar curls- 2x8


Basically i do everything to failure and bust my ass.
I am an ecto so i cant get away with lifting 5+ days a week doing isolation exercises.

The main reason i came to pullinbig was because i had chicken legs and they werent growing. Then when i saw my pants and boxers getting tighter and saw my number increasing I knew that doing a full pullin routine was for me.
THe gym is not where all the work has to be done, i also have to spend lots of time in the kitchen. Without fueling your body you cant grow, I made sure i got 2grams of protein per lb of body weight and ate 6+ meals a day(basically ate everything in site hungry or not). If you want to be 200 lbs like i would some time like to be you have to eat like a 200lb guy. I see so many people complaining that they are not growing and it has a lot to do with not eating enough so eat up BOYZ.
Now i can say that my bench and deadlift and squat are at the highest they have ever been and still climbing. I am happy with my current results and cant wait what these next months have to come :-)

ahh..... another BBIng routine convert. he is being modest by not posting his numbers but they have impressed me. he has made big jumps in just a couple of months. and dem legs is a growing. no mo chicken legs.

good work bro.

the plan he is on is as simple as it gets. and when he stalls out a slight modification can be made to get his numbers moving again. adding weight to the bar adds muscle to the body. basic stuff.

no need to carry a calculator to the gym, no need for a bunch of iso work, no need to do endless sets of meaningless weight, and most of all no need to go to the gym year in and year out and not make considerable gains. if you been in the gym for several years and folks still gotta ask you if you work out then somethings not working.

i never have people ask me if i work out? they ask how much i can lift? or what gym i go to? or how long i been lifting?

Well, lets get technical here. THAT is a bodybuilding routine. I mean the guy is finally building his body, unlike when he was doing all that silly isolation shit, and probably going to the gym 5-6 days a week.

I think he's on to something! Great job PB and Mister 69!

atta boy M69 . heavy basic/compound excercises build mass . triple isolated concentration whatchamacallit excercises sell muscle magazines .

pullin's routine worked great for me too! once i started doing deads and squats like he told me to and eating more i gained something like 10 lbs in 1 month. all 3 lifts have been steadily going up, and i could be gaining alot more size but i havent been eating right. did i mention my squat has nearly doubled, and i have actually seen size gains in my legs? (from shameful to embarresing, still doubled :)

i remeber at one point i was pulling and squating 185lbs :-( but now that had all changed :-)

thats great news..imagine if people had the balls to lift heavy weights and only hit the gym 3-4 times a week instead of 5 and ate properly??? everyone would be monsters..good work PB
 
Im' on a modifeid pullin big routine I'll let u guys know but so far I'm improving each week and 2 weeks into it.... but I;m attemting ot get bigger and stronger and get lean at the same time.

not sure if I can do it but my chest seems to be getting bigger and tomrrow is back unforutnately due ot keen pains I opted ot no do legs this weke but hopefulyl my wraps come in in a day or 2 so I can protect my knees.

Well, not to ruin the party, but I hatethis routine. The only thing I got out of it was more mass in 4 months that in the last 2 years. Leaner gains, and my strength gains were about 200lbs total on my three big lifts!!!

My opinion is that this workout sucks!!!








Actually, its awesome, I just want to be the only monster in my neck of the woods!! hahaha

one thing that doesn't seem to grow are my small high calves from the knee down looks like i have two sticks :-(

my calves suck

pullin i like how the routine looks but what about traps? and would that be enough for delts how about sholder press.. you know more than me help me out here thanks
 
Well, pullin told me that the decline medium grip will hit delts real nice.


And he was right, my delts get fried on wed.

As for traps, my traps are hurtin today from heavy deads yesterday.
