Why is it that some medications or pills have to be taken with food or milk, while some can be taken with water? Does one do better for obsorption or something? Is there a difference which will help a capsul or tabs digest more efficiently?

I'm guessing it's so that the medication won't irrate your intestines thus you don't get full absorbtion. either that or it gets activated by specific enzymes that are released only when you eat.
