question on Deca Only cycle

I'm on my first 10 week 300 mg/week Deca Only cycle (3rd week in). I know you're suppose to up calorie intake to 4000-5000 a day with a shit load of protein. However, i want my gains to mostly be muscle and i'm prone to putting weight on my love handles/lower back (i'm 185lbs, 5'10" and have been lifting for 6 years and hit a big plateau, hence the deca)...

I'm currently doing 3x/week 25 minute cardio in addition to 6x/week hard weight training to prevent some of these calories going into my soft spots. Is cardio even doing anything in this type of cycle or am i wasting my time? is it necessary to do a cutting cycle afterwards?

Any info on cardio with this type of cycle would be cool. thanks.

i think i wont be the first one to tell you, deca only is a real good way to lose a girlfriend, or get your wife mad. Come week 4 or 5, good luck on getting an erection. Unless your bulking, i think 3500-4000 cals is plenty, aim for around 1.5 g of protein per lb. moderate carbs 300-400 low glycemic except post workout, and the rest good quality fats, natty peanut butter, olive oil, flax oil, avocados etc.

Cardio is good for the heart and to keep you in...well...cardiovascular shape, but IMO you have to decide what you want to do: cut or bulk.

If I were you I would cut out the cardio except for once a week just to keep the wind up, and work on putting on weight. Once the cycle is done if you find you have put on too much fat, take a month and get on a good diet to burn off the blubber.

If your goal was to look good with a little more muscle but without any fat, then there are a lot better choices out there then only using Deca. Your gear usage should theoretically make sense.

And if this is indeed supposed to be a bulker then you should axe the cardio because that is just using up calories that your body needs to put on the extra muscle you want.

what biggie said.
your on a bulker your gonna have to gain the extras.then go on a cutter and lose the extras(fat-bloat).
