I was just reading through the April issue of Exercise and Sport Sciences Reviews and found an article about R-ala, it's antioxidant properties, and it's glycogen uptake abilities coupled with regular exercise. It's a very interesting article and shows clear data that R-Ala coupled with regular exercise DOES increase insulin sensitivity and glucose uptake. It is also VERY effective at free-radical removal. If anyone is interested here's the article

I have to say.. I was pretty skeptical about R-ala but it seems to me that there is pure solid and very clear evidence that it's claims are dead on! I'm sold.
