Recovering and Rebuilding

catalyst

Old fuck
Back from injury (car accident/head injury). Have not lifted since December of last year. Other issues include injuries over the last few decades to various places, which will be mentioned only when necessary, and, of course, the fact that I turn 50 next year. That being said, I am not on anything right now and am simply working on building a solid training base once again, improving my conditioning and burning off some of the fat I have gained. I am walking around at 220, should be at least 230 with far less body fat. Not going to bother with a body comp right now, no point. Need to drop fat.

Going to feel my way through training for the first couple of weeks, not too sure how I will respond to anything at this point.

Today:

Power snatch:
lots of warm-up, then
135x3x5
Power clean:
185x5x5
Both done from the hang, mid-thigh level
Squat:
225x5x5
(high bar, atg)
GHR:
10x5
Decline situps:
25x5
Seated Calf:
90x20x5

Took my sweet ass time between sets of squats and ghr's. Going to be sore as shit, so kept volume low, any more at this point would just be pain for the sake of being an idiot.
