This will be long so bare with me.
Been a lurker here for awhile and was hoping to find some people with similar experiences to me to give me hope that things can get better.
A yr ago when I was 30 yo and 5'11 200 decent shape, ate very clean and worked out 3-4 times a week I was having chronic fatigue issues as I've had my entire life despite being active. Did some research and went to my doc and demanded a bunch of test be ran. When I asked for a testosterone test my doc laughed at me and said I had facial hair and muscle tone so It was a waste of my money, I told him I didn't care give me the test. It came back 170 ng so he decided to start me on 100 ng test cyp ONCE A MONTH. After feeling great for about 4 days and then crashing hard I did my research and found he was uniformed on the subject and tried to convince him to give me the 100 on a weekly basis he said no so I discontinued treatment.
4 months later I was laid off from work and had gained 50 pounds in 4 months due to lack of energy and slightly bad eating habits (If i go a week without counting my calories and eating clean I can gain 10 pounds fast, my metabolism is shit). Ended up getting bad panic attacks I thought were heart attacks and going to the emergency room 3 times for them. I even fainted during one and hit my head. The third time I went in they said I didn't know who I was after awhile and was babbling so they tested me about 5 times for drugs and when that didnt work out like they thought they sent me to a mental health care facility for 72 hours. As soon as I woke up from resting for a few days I was fine and they let me go, diagnosing me as schitzophrenic.
Went to see a shrink and after a month he said theres no way im schitzo and put me on ssri's , clonapen, and adderall. the adderall has helped my fatigue but I don't want to stay on it forever. I still get panic attacks and they caused me to quit 2 stressful jobs and I've finally been working for 2 weeks now at something I can do without freaking out (clonapen does nothing for me and my panic attacks, so I stopped taking it).
I've put in an e-mail to IncreaseMyT and I'm waiting for the holidays to clear so I can hear back from them.
Anyone else go through anything similar to this? I don't have good blood test yet. All i have is a total test score, but I was also worried about adrenal fatigue. I've always felt like I'm running uphill, mentally and physically. Seeing no gains in the gym and having to drag myself there even when doing everything right. The anxiety has gotten worse and worse throughout the years and has really affected my life negatively, as has the chronic fatigue.
I've started supplementing dhea, pregnenelone, vitamin d, ZMA, and B-complex and it has seemed to help a tad bit.
Just looking for hope out there that someone else has been through something similar and lived to tell about it....
