First glad I found somewhere to be able to ask this kind of question. My T levels in my early 30's were in the 800 range I hit 40 and they went to 200ish. So I started TRT. My Son is transgender and has been getting T shots for a few years now *self injecting*. When I asked my doctor about self injecting and not having to come in all the time for the injections I was told no. He said that there is a shortage and thats the reason I can not self inject. After that visit I noticed that Every time I go in the injection is already filled and there is no bottle of T in sight. It made me feel uneasy to I told the doctor that next time I need to be there when the injection is drawn that I wanted to see it go from bottle to syringe to my butt. I was told this was not going to happen it is "not the way things are done". I am highly uncomfortable with this and every time I bring it the nurse tells me to talk to the doctor and the doctor gives me an answer like 1+1= bacon, you like bacon right be happy with bacon, not the 1+1=2 that I need. Has anyone heard of anything that would back up what he is saying to me? Maybe it's me but if it smells like BS, walks like BS and gives BS answers I'm going to think it's BS.
