Sleep question #2.

Hey. This is my 2nd and final sleep question for everyone here. I used to sleep 11 hours a night. I have worked on my sleep habbits, and now the quality of my sleep is much better. Now I can go with less sleep and I feel the same. I am now getting about 8.5 to 9 hours a night and have a 10-15 minute nap and feel perfect all day long.

How much sleep do you guys sleep a night when your NOT on a cycle, and how do you feel during the day?

I would really like everyone to reply please. Thanks!

i personally sleep 7-8 and feel fine. I know bodybuilders who are very busy who sleep 4-5 hrs a night. There gains dont seem to suffer. Not many of us ahve time for 10 hrs of sleep. Its all about adaptation. You can get used to nething

Ronnie coleman personally told me he has always only slept 6 hours a night, except for contest prep when he tries to sleep 7.

That is honestly hard to believe.

during the week I average 7hrs. on the weekends I get close to 9 hrs. most times 7 hrs is enough, but some days I still feel wiped out by 3:00pm and Ill need some carbs and coffee to perk up. this is the same on and off cycle.

Depends, I sleep very irradically because of my school schedule...sometimes I have class at 8 am then sometimes at 2pm, obviously i'm not getting up early if i don't have to!

Honestly, I can't sleep without medication 3mg Lunesta. I have insomnia on or off cycle. With lunesta i sleep 7.5 hours.

Not really, he could proably sleep a minute and still grow lol.... Genetics are on that dudes side

8 Hours is optimal for me... 7.5 even

i'm in the same boat as outlawtas2 ... my schedule has me up for class at 8am 2 days and 10am 2 days... and then i have weekends to sleep in... unless i'm out partying my ass off... but i'll usually get anywhere from 5-13 hours sleep sometimes more if i can... with a good 2-4 hour sleep at some point during the day

LOL Sorry

About 7 hours to feel somewhat normal
anything less and I am lethargic as fuck. I also find that working out in the am at 6 am helps me with energy level thru the day. Until around 9 pm when I can barely keep the eyelids open

"Ben Franklin said, “Never let the sun rise to find you sleeping the day away.” I agree. I rise at 3:30 am daily. My morning workout is my first phase of the day. So to anyone listening and thinking, “What does this mean?”, it means that while I don’t get 8 hours of sleep a night, I do get to eat twice before 7:00 am. That is why I don’t mind living the 24 hour lifestyle, I can keep my muscles flushed with fresh nutrients and ultimately I can grow bigger than most people living so-called normal lives. "

I know its not much but I have had trouble sleeping for the last few months...ever since i stopped to puff the magic dragon.... damn it. and yes im always tired.

try knocking one out before bed (seriously)

I suffer from sleep apnea and find that no amount of sleep makes me feel better. I am always shot by about 6 or 7 pm. I get up at 7:30 every morning regardless of how I slept or how late I went to bed. I do find that when I can sleep, I have my best sleep between the hours of 2 am to 7am. If I am awakened during that time fuget about it!

I am really surprised that nobody is saying they need 9 to 10 hours of sleep a night. I guess I really was over sleeping. When I sleep 9-10 hours I always find it difficult to fall asleep at night. When I sleep around 7.5 to 8 hours I may nap during the day (30 mins maybe) and I can fall asleep easier at night.

Are there any 10 hour sleepers here besides crushershockey because his sleep schedule is all over the place!! LOL!! :D

no more than 6 hours during the week

when I was in the army 4-5 on average, and I felt better then. probably because I used to get up and do PT for an hour at 630am
