Hey i have been working out and eating clean for about 6 months now. I completely replaced all processed foods with 100% whole wheat alternatives, white rice with brown rice and i stay way away from sugar ( my only sugar intake is whatever is in the bread, 1 or 2 fruits a day, and my post-workout shake). And my only sources of fat that i use are Olive oil, and fish-oil gel caps. My question was what effect does sodium have on one's diet? I always knew that low sodium can cause serious problems which may lead to death (if your body is over hydrated and sodium/water ratio in the body is too low), but recently i also read somewhere that taking in too much sodium can have negative effects on your diet and overall appearance, as it causes water retention. So what are the effects of Sodium on one's diet and what is the recommended amount of sodium that a daily diet should contain?
Thanks.
Thanks.
