im a college kid and to pay for my tuition i have been the manager of a sonic. i have been there nearly 5 years (i actually just quit yesterday, anyways). i dont know if sonics are everywhere yet or not, but they have this steak that they use in a couple of their items. i was curious about its protein content so i checked the box and it has a pretty surprised 14g of protein. that may not seem like alot, but when you consider it is only a 4oz piece of meat, its better than even tuna. luckily i got me a stash of that steak before i quit. i just wanted to give a heads up to any of you guys who might eat sonic food who are interested in protein consumption.
