Sore joints after refeeds?

I have been running keto for a while now, but it seems after every weekly carb refeed my joints feel sore?

Maybe from water retention?

Does anyone else every feel this?
 
I've heard of joints aching from being too dried out, but never after carbs. Are you doing a certain exercise around that day also? I love to do certain leg machines, but some are guaranteed to cause me knee aching (even though I am using good form).

LOL, everything I do could cause the soreness, but it is pronounced after I refeed.

I know what you mean about the machines. I usually try to stay away from leg machines for the majority of my leg training. I just seem to get better results with compound movements with the barbell, but every other week Ill throw in a few. You can bet that the next day Im limping around.
 
Just wondering...if you have time post a few of your leg exercises. I'm not happy with my current routine and I'd like to do something new. I'm 5 2 so most of the machines make me bend in an awkward way...I'd much prefer barbell exercises anyways. thanks!
