Steriod use for weight loss??

Hi all.

I am a 24 year old male, 6ft 8 and currently at 280lbs (down from 330 in 3 months)
My goal is not a figure in terms of weightloss but to have a reasonable shaped muscular but lean body. I am aware that it will be very hard work for me to get a low body fat but I am willing to work at it. I have got a good deit and exercise routine at the moment and have held it consitantly for about 6 weeks now. But the weightloss is starting to slow down, but as my aim is to be muscular it was suggested to me (by a few bodybuilders at my gym) that I should think about going onto a test cycle along with winnstral for 6/8 weeks. The said no point in loosing weight (including muscle) then bulking up and I would be best to do this as I will still loose weight and gain muscle simultainsly. In fact they said more muscle helps burn more fat.
I have no issues about the use of steriods I am just needing more advice if this is the right time. Im leaning more and more toward trying it as I feel if I start seeing the muscle defination it will give me a bit more drive asweel.
Currently my routine is a 3/5km run and a muscle workout (quite light but 16 reps a set) 3/5 times a week depending on work commitments.

Any advice on this idea and best steriods to take would be very helpful

not right for you at all... you will just get some serious sides with estrogen. thats usually how it goes. the higher your fat % the more prone you will be for all sides in general. i went on at more than 20% bodyfat & had alot of bloat & ended up with some very serious high blood pressure.

steroids is like the final step/ last resort to years of hitting the iron and finally hitting that natural limit. the plateau that no tweak in diet or combination of natural supps or intensity techniques/rep schemes can bust thru. when you finally hit that limit. get on a test only cycle (along with Aromatase inhibitor (AI) and serm of course) 50lbs fatloss in 3 months is awesome bro. change up your diet training a bit. hit up 3j here.... all of his clients end up getting ripped. good luck bro.

if your hormonal levels are low (thyroid or test levels) then Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) MIGHT be an option for you.(having high body fat may mess this up also though so it may fix itself if you eat right and lose the waight) but DIET is the main part even the workouts dont mean that much other than health.

Steroids is not something I rec for fatloss to some one with high body fat. you will get more side effects, higher estrogen conversion, blood pressure and so on.

3J is good with diets.
and CONGRATS on the fatloss buddy!
