Subway, Tuna subs?

I have 2 questions here...

#1. What does everyone feel about a 6" Tuna sub on wheat, as the choice for going to subway for a meal?

#2. What kind of oil is the stuff that you can put on subs at subway, you know, the Vinegar and oil stuff?

Thanks, HB

My Ex used to work at subway back in the day and she used to tell me that they put sooooo much mayo in the tuna!

where does the fat come from, i'll try those atkins roll things... or a subway club, under 6 grams of fat

The fat comes from all the mayo that they put in the tuna salad mixture. I'm sure they butter the bun too, so there's more fat!

i stick to wheat bread, would that be the best bread to get at subway? Overall what sandwich would be te best nutrisious?

both olive & canola oils are pretty good for you.

subway really isn't as healthy as their marketing would like you to believe. loaded with sodium, the veggies aren't particularly fresh and the meats are pretty low quality.

that being said, it is a MUCH better choice than Taco Hell or McDonalds, but you'd do better to make your own food.

The wheat isnt much better than the white considering it is probably Enriched Wheat Flower (Notice the F word)=Bad. It processes and is probably not much better than the white and those atkins things are under 6 gram Net Carbs not fat.

Best would be perhaps a Club on wheat with no mayo and no oil .

tahnks popi, i see what u mean, but i thought u said the oil was good for u, I only ask bec. on campus we have fats food, and subway, so i have to use my card to get food, and I'd rather eat a lil healthier then Taco bell, or hardee's...lol

Yeah the oil is good for you but I tend to not like to mix energies in my foods protein carb or protein fat not protein fat and carbs or visa versa

enriched flwer huh? which flwer is that a rose or a tulip?! Flour bro, flour with a U!!! I agree with Popi if all you have to chose from is taco bell, burgers or subway I would go with the subway. Hold the mayo even though it is low fatmayo, and maybe use the honey mustard or something. I would go with the oat bread, and I would probably double the meaton any 6 inch sub I got

Good advice, I always double the meat on my 6 inch subs. stick with the wheat bread too and honey mustard.

i like the sweet onion choken terriaki with double the meat on a 6 inch italian herbs and cheese bread with american cheeze and the terriaki dressing. what do you think the fat protein and carbs are in this? what about if i dropped the cheeze.
