TRT for the prepper
I hope this question isn't too out there... I have made efforts to be prepared for hopefully unlikely but possible disruptions in normal life. Starting testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) has been run counter to that, and it was something that gave me pause but ultimately I made the decision that the benefits outweigh the downsides.
I have made myself dependent on outside sources of medication and supplies and while I wouldn't be in the same trouble as, say, a diabetic might be, but if I was cut off from this supply I would still be facing a medical issue on top of whatever else might be going wrong.
I cautiously approached my doctor, but he was fairly dismissive, saying that in a societal breakdown it would be the least of my problems. Well, I though, he really doesn't know me well enough to know that, but I don't know him that well either yet and didn't want to push it.
Basically, I would like to be able to be set up to continue my treatment independently for an extended time period, and also have the materials and information at hand to conduct my own restart if continuation of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) didn't look feasible. Ideas? Please let me emphasize that I'm only talking about personal use of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) at prescribed levels.
