TRT question for you guys
Hey guys
So I have a question. Does anyone on here have ADD? I have what's called ADHD PI (primarily inattentive) or SCT (sluggish cognitive tempo). Basically the symptoms of these conditions include:
Trouble staying alert
Easily confused
Spacey; Mind seems to be elsewhere
Stares a lot
More Tired than others
Underactive, less energy than others
Apathetic or withdrawn; less engaged in activities; Gets lost in thought.
Slow moving
Doesn’t seem to process information as quickly or accurately as others
Slow to complete tasks; needs more time than others
Lacks initiative to complete work or effort fades quickly
additionally, my other symptoms include:
Lack of drive or motivation in life- no zest for life
anxiety
trouble concentrating
mild depression
I also can't grow facial hair and have gynecomastia, despite being tall and skinny (6'6 200lbs)
I am not sure if the ADD PI/SCT symptoms are being brought on by low testosterone and so that's what I was hoping you guys could help clarify. Did anyone have similar symptoms before testosterone replacement therapy (TRT)? and if so, which ones and also how did the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) effect them? My biggest concern are the mental aspects. I feel my brain is under-stimulated currently, and because of it I have a really difficult time in conversation with people bcuz it's as if I can't keep up (almost like it takes me awhile to process things) and therefore, have a difficult time keeping a convo flowing. the reason I believe it's due to an under stimulation is bc I used to occasionally smoke medicinal marijuana (which stimulates the brain) and when I did I had such clear thinking. I easily kept up in convos, in fact, I was able to think a few steps ahead. For the first time in my life I was able to think clear and hold convos, and the response I got from people was nothing short of AMAZING, people really engaged with me and liked me bc it was as if I had LIFE in me, I FELT ALIVE, which is not how I feel at all normally. And the best part of all was that it was so effortless, where as normally I feel I try so hard to maintain concentration and hold convos but I never can bc I can't think or focus. and so I was wondering if testosterone helped you with anything like this(particularly mentally)?
