I just finished baking my newly made gear. I had a vent tube in it. When you remove it fron the oven, should you remove the vent tube or leave it in for a little while?

I leave mine in to equalize the pressure when it cools.

I don't bake it. I believe it really doesn't do much for sterilization. Using 2% ba and a .2 filter is enough from everything I have read.
