The Zone Diet

I've had a few people tell me they love it and it's actually easy to follow. Are they full of shit? Most of the "diets" involve too many exotic foods. Anybody have any experience with this particular program?
 
Why not just eat a clean diet and get plenty of exercise?

Long term lifestyle changes in terms of exercise and eating habits are what yield lasting results.
 
It's nothing really magical. It's just a low calorie diet that stresses eating particular ratios of macronutrients (protein, carbs and fat) at each meal.
