too much protein?

If you are getting real bad gas, then you are eating too much protein. Really kind of wasting your money in that case, but if you decide to cut back, make sure you compensate by increasing calories from other sources to get yourself back to the same level. For example, if you cut out 50g or protein, replace it with 50g of carbs or 20g of fat.

Of course if you found yourself putting on too much fat at the previous calories level, then you might not bother replacing that protein you cut out.
