TRT patient looking to do first cycle

Hey Gents,

I am looking to try out my first cycle. I am currently on TRT at 100mg/wk and HCG at 500iu/wk. I wanted to try to up the Test Cyp to 250-300mg/wk and add maybe Dbol at 30mg/ED.
I would run:
Week 1-8 - 250-300mg Test
Week 1-4 - 30mg/ED Dbol

I would continue my HCG through out at my current dose. How much Anastrazole would I need, if I need any at all?
As far as PCT, there would be none.
After the 8th week, I will drop my TRT dose back to 100mg/wk.

Any additional info would be appreciated.

Also wondering if I would be able to keep SOME decent gains once off since I will be continuing my TRT regimen.

I put 100 test per week into a blood level calculator, assuming test cyp 2x per week, 10 day half life. This just to show the shape of the curve, and your blood level on TRT.

Notice a couple of things, first your steady state blood level at 100/wk is about 14.1 to 14.4, and also it takes about 8 weeks to build up close to that steady state - and really like 10 weeks or more to actually hit it.

Now look at starting at your TRT dose of 100/wk then in week #2 upping it to 300/wk for 8 weeks, also assuming 2x per week and 10 day half life.

Notice you see the same ~8 weeks to build up close to max levels, then when you stop you bleed back down to your TRT level over the course of a few weeks.

So my comments here are:

You will find it impossible to figure out an AI dose for the test plus dbol. If you knew accurately what it was at any given time it would increase over the first few weeks pretty quickly, then decrease when you stop the dbol, then decrease again when you stop the test.

The total test in your blood pyramids up, then back down, giving you a pretty short amount of time up at effective doses. Some would say you never really even hit effective doses (for test, not really thinking about dbol here). You might be disappointed by mediocre gains from this. If it was me I'd shoot for 500 test/wk and run the on cycle time for minimum 12 weeks.

For AI I don't know what to tell you. If you keep the doses low like your plan I'd say not very much at all. Figure out what to try then start at 1/4 dose, then 1/2, then full, then step it back down.

spot on ^^^^^^^^^^^like it was said above.
you could run an 8-12 week cycle of 500 mg/wk or so and see good gains and then transition back to your trt dose but what will your doc say when he figures out you cycled? and be sure your diet is on point to get the best results, please keep us posted.

Wow, what a solid post! Thank you for this info.
With all this being clearer, I would drop dbol and just do Test at 500mg/wk for 12 weeks.

I am going to wait to start, however, since I've only been on TRT for about 2 months. I want to stabilize first and get another set of bloods pulled. Maybe I will get a better idea as far as how much of an AI I would need.

Based off your experience anyway, what would be a good starting dose and how would you know whether to up or decrease the dose? It gets ran from the very first week to the very last week of the cycle, correct? I was thinking .25mg EOD of adex while on 500 test.

I don't think he will find out. Once I get bloods, I will start the cycle since I won't have to see him again for more blood 6 months later.
Although I will have to find another means of getting blood pulled while on the cycle. Perhaps have my GP do it or use one of the online lab orders. Unfortunately, NY doesn't allow that so I will have to go out of state.

Why not run TRT dose at 200mg wk and add deca at say 400mg weekly x10? This is a great blast while trying to maintain TT levels. Since you are on TRT, that is...
