truth or myth

is there a limit to what your body can hold( mass) ..when you hit about 40-50lbs above your natural body weight? even with proper post cycle therapy (pct) cycles

Oh I'm sure there's a limit to how much mass you can gain over your genetic limit. Then again I'm sure the guys that actually get there try pushing it further with excess amounts of drugs and trying new more innovative ways of putting on a few pounds.

I also think you can get to the point where you pretty much have to stay on all the time to maintain your size. I don't think this applies to everyone as I know one massive fucker that takes a lot of time off. But I know others that say they have to stay on to maintain their size.

Mind you, I'm talking about competitors here not your average bodybuilder as I wouldn't recommend staying on all the time.

Of course, how would it be a myth. If Ronnie was happy with his size he would come off, you think he will keep all that? Hell no.

the reason for the question is that i read alot of post where guy get off their cycle and did post cycle therapy (pct) and still lost their gains..no one ever mentions maybe they are at their max weight (muscle not fat)

You will lose some nearly 100% of the time, but you should not lose all anytime. Now if you weigh more post cycle than you did pre, you need to eat more than previously to maintain bodyweight.

Some people also claim they get sick, they go on vacation, whatever. Once in awhile you spot people that have done 5 cycles and still weigh 170 because of this, that, the other, and anything else you can think of.

That about summs it up.

I think your body always fights to maintain a certain weight. I heard a good rule of thumb on gains which is that you can gain approx. 50 lbs naturally and another 50 lbs on roids (I think maintaining this is a challenge). Remember, you are building muscle with super high levels of hormones and of course your body will have difficulty maintaining it when your hormone levels start to drop off.

I've had a lot of trouble trying to keep weight on after a cycle but I have naturally low T levels. Hopefully this will be better now that I am on HRT.

Homeostasis, the body is doing what it can to survive and muscle is wastefull, it sits there and does nothing but burn calories all day long.
