I kinda liked it. I DVR'd it and watched it this morning and was pleased with how it was done. The actual production was cool and choppy but not overdone, like a cool documentary. They make Dana look like the mafia boss he is. Bj looks crazy and unstable as usual and I don't know how anyone could not like GSP. Ya know, unless you were really homophobic.

I watched it last night and looks like there is one Wednesday and then the Wednesday before the fight. This will give updates on Penn's and GSP's training. They are half hour shows only but I found very entertaining.

I hadn't realized the UFC event I had set to record was this; glad I did. Have set to record the other ones as well.

Found Penn to be an ass. Talks way too much trash. Taking a 5 day break, give me a break. That he has to have his family lie to Dana while he is not training, it will show in his fight. Going to kill GSP? Literally? Come on dude, there's talking shit and then there is just shit!

Look forward to the next ones.

BJ is notorious for hyping his fights with noise. GSP was even guilty of it against Serra. Only problem with GSP is that the muthafucker is so nice that in his post fight comments he said (in my best GSP writing impression) "Please don't boo, At Serra. He were just yping da fight." "We do not ate each utter." Comon Georges, your my boy but you gotta make it seem real or you turn into pro wrestling.

On another note, I agree with you about BJ. He's an ass. He is incredibly gifted and if he had the dedication as GSP or Fedor or Wanderlei there would be no question that he was the fuckin best ever when it's all said and done. Before any fight what do people say. "If BJ comes in shape he's gonna dominate." You just never know. I coach wrestling and I have a 171lber who could be the most dominate kid in the state. He's a fucking jacked black kid that is faster and stronger than anyone around. He gives me all I can handle and I'm 2 bills and forget more wrestling than he will ever know. He will show up one day and pin a statre qualifier and then loss to a scrub. He constantly looks at the score and time and wrestlers accordingly. Fucking reminds me of BJ.

The whole BJ not coming in shape thing is just drama to hype the fight. Dana would not really be chasing him around hawaii trying to get him to train. To me this guarantees him coming in great shape.

Does seem like a lot of hype to build this fight up. It is a lot of drama however Penn really is like this; trains when and how he wants and never takes full advantage of his natural ability. When he was a kid with attitude somebody should have put him in his place. Maybe if he wasn't handed everything on a plate and had to "earn" it, then he'd respect it and work hard for it. He's a lazy fighter, plain and simple.
