upping protein and shitting like crazy!!!

Not Juice..Protein Shakes
i just started eating like a fukin animak with foods with a lot of protein and im shitting like 7 times a day.

is this really abnormal or what?
 
more food equals more poop

when I was bulking I dumped 3x a day.

it is normal for more.
7 is a lot IMO

post your cals,pro,carbs,fat for diagnosis
 
im 6 foot, weigh 167 and heres my cals,pro and carbs intake...

cals- 4400

pro- 220

carbs- 370

fat- 240
 
At first your digestive system has to adjust, you will go more if you eat more, that is par for the course but right now your digestive system is probably reacting to the overload of protein, give it another week to see if your digestive system settles down.
 
my system is adjusted to eating alot but since I started drinking ON serious mass shake I constantly shit liquid every 20 mins, after I down shake. never had this prob with other MRP's. as for fiber I eat 1cup of oatmeal in the morning after breakfast and before lunch. do I need more fiber ? the serving is 2 massive scoops and I do 1 1/2 scoops.

As I ramped up above 6000cals my digestive system was a wreck. The gas was painful and smelled so bad I couldn't even squeak the smallest fart out at work. Had to run to the bathroom just for that! Took close to a month for me to get everything right and settled back down. Now I shit 2 or 3 times a day, nice and clean.

yeah man, it's all about diet and technique. I say diet because once you change what you eat, your body takes some time to adjust to it. usually within a few weeks everything settles down. I poop 2x's a day at the same times like clock work. Oh and for some reason it's pretty clean too. 2-3 wipes and the TP comes out clean. Before I had my diet in check there were times I had to shower after taking a dump! not to mention it would come on like a surprise attack!!!

Oh, and like I said technique too. I've almost perfected the art of the silent fart. right now I can almost fart anywhere and not be noticed. I swear, it's the coolest thing since Jedi mind control!

like the others said, it will take time for your body to adjust.

that is a lot of calories for being 167.
I know you want to bulk but do it in stages otherwise it is going to be a lot of fat especially when you are intaking over 200g of fat a day

Glad to know Im not the only one then!!
Since starting my see-food diet (see-food, eat it), my farts stink real bad and Im shitting at least 6 times a day.
But theres one good way of looking at it. I go to the bathroom at work about 5 times a day, so I get paid for everytime I shit!! A nice way to earn my money :)
By the way, Im also tall 6'1 and an ectomorph with a shot metabolism.

I used to fart so bad when I upped my protein to something like 1,5g per lbs bodyweight that I started to be scared of myself!

Well, fat and muscle are two totally different types of tissue. Muscle, among other things has the ability to expand and contract, unlike fat which just sits there and looks ugly. That old saying of "Turn the Fat into muscle" is basically BS.

I would suggest you just take the advice and principles that have been suggested to you here and sort of refine them to fit you goals. There isn't a "blueprint" that works for everyone. you have to find what works for you. Occasionally, you find a system that works for you and then it suddenly stops working. That's when it's time to switch it up. Come to think of it, achieving your goals is a constant evolution. AND, it's a pain in the a$$ but the rewards are well worth it. Good luck.

Lol. Me too! There were quite a few nights in the beginning when my wife would leave the bedroom to sleep on the couch. Then I'd end up getting up to pee and wouldn't be able to go back in the room. GAG! Unreal how bad it can really smell!

You'll put on fat if you take in more calories than your body can use. Even having too much protein will contribute to the problem. It's not quite that simple, but the basic principle holds true. You'll need to find out what works for you.
 
Well bro if your body is used to processing a thousand calories and you up it to 6000 what do you expect(example).

Imagine a dude is benching a 100 pounds, if you put a 1000 pounds on the bar and he tries to lift it his ass is going through the floor with it.

Give your system time to get used to everything, up your calories constantly by 500 a week, 750 if you feel you need to but no more than that.

Your body will slowly learn to make use of all those calories.
