Week Three Of TRT Injections - Question

Lots of great information on this site that really pertains to me and my situation with testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) - as a novice I really appreciate the time others have put in on these forums! I hope this is an adequate place for this post - if not let me know and I can move it.

I am located in Columbia, MO and saw it mentioned that there was an IMT affiliate in Kansas City which would work out very well for me. I would much prefer to deal with a clinic and specialist locally - especially one that seems to come so highly referred.

I am on my third injection - I understand I should not be seeing many changes this soon but want to make sure I am doing things the best way - a second opinion if you will to confirm what I am hearing from my specialist at the clinic in South FL.

My current regimen is as follows...

Day 1 - 200mg test cyp, 100mg deca
Day 2 - 100mg B12 injection
Day 3 - .5mg anastrozole (orally)
Day 4 - nothing
Day 5 - .5mg anastrozole, 100mg hcg
Day 6 - 100mg hcg
Day 7 - .5mg anastrozole

I have done some reading on the forums and seen several posters who split test injections into 100mg twice weekly, every five days or in other varied rotations for more "even" experiences - I asked my specialist about this and he said no need.

I noticed a real high the first week after around two days but also suffered extreme lows on day six and seven each of the first two weeks which, unfortunately, coincided with a Sunday/Monday and got me off to a bad start to the week at the office. I am changing my injection day to Saturday to make sure I am peaking on Monday next time around (based on what I read this seems correct).

I have been working out well - martial arts four days weekly for an hour, three sessions of additional cardio and weight lifting two days minimum - this seems to be all my body can handle at this point without extreme fatigue (one of the reasons I started TRT). I have also been eating well - better than ever and according to what others have suggested to build lean muscle and lose body fat.

Long story for a short question....does this seem to be a good regimen with the gear I was given and, if not, what would be the best way to adjust it especially if I went to two injections weekly or every five days vs. one time a week. Sorry for the long post and thanks again!

I can not give advice on dosages so please understand this is for educational purposes and you should consult with you physician before changing or engaging in any therapeutic program :freak:

If your aiming for the same dose I would maybe try 150mg E5D. This is a good schedule.

I think you may be taking too much of adex for your testosterone dose, most will not need that much if any, it depends on the individual.

Have you ever had any problems with estrogen?

I have never been diagnosed with estrogen issues but this is only my third week - I have not noticed anything indicative of it yet either but have not had any follow up labs.

Im not telling you what to do but it seems like a lot for someone that doesn't know if there sensitive to E2 or not.

obviously if there was something in your history that reported a sensitivity to fluctuating E levels, like symptoms or blood test then maybe, even then I would most likely start with less than that if it were me.

When someone starts off with low testosterone levels they can notice changes in as little as 10 days, like more frequent morning wood :)

its possible you do not need that much adex, and an E2 ( which i suspect is in the teens by now) is a little lower than I prefer. I like to be close to 30-40, or at the lowest high 20's

this could be the reason, or one of, that you have not seen more change.

Just My 2 Cents

I addressed the question about taking too much adex with my clinic and got another blood draw scheduled with the lab for two weeks which will put my at 1 1/2 months on treatment so should give me a solid reference point. I will find out what the levels are then and will be able to make adjustments if necessary. I did talk with the doctor and was cleared to adjust the injections to see what worked best for me as long as I don't go over the original prescribed dosage. I appreciate the input!

I just checked my original pre treatment panel and estradiol level was at 25.9 (ref 7.6-42.6) so I will be curious to see what it is in two weeks.

Not sure about that protocol. How much did they charge you for that B12? You can order is without a prescription all over the net. I would get a second opinion. Is all that really needed for your situation or is it some standard protocol they tell patients they "need" just to sell some extra crap?

Call the board sponsor. Get a damn second opinion. I hate seeing people waste money. I work hard for my damn money. I hate to waste my money or get ripped off. Pisses me off, makes me want to stick them like a pig. Anyway, just dont waste hard earned money is my damn point.

I will definiitely get a second opinion prior to reorder and would love to speak with someone from this board about it. I still feel great today after injecting on Monday after only six days vs seven and look forward to splitting my dose for next week to see how that works for me and makes me feel.

Do u know a decent trt doc in the Columbia mo area? My URo in Columbia no good.

Can u recommend a good doc in central mo for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT)? Mine only has me on 100mg of T per week

Is that your prescription? If so, pretty awesome. What was the rationale to add the deca on your doctor's part?
I'm not sure I understand the "100mg hcg" part. Seems a little light on the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) (depending on the dose), possibly a little heavy on the adex.
