hey guys...

i'm looking to pack on some mass and weight this winter; and am looking towards a weight gainer supplement to help with the added calorie intake (as i work all day, everyday and it is difficult to fit in alot of solid meals). was wondering what your recommendations would be on the best weight gainer. i i want increased CLEAN calories as much as possible, and not alot of unnecessary fat gain. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Get a Protein Powder
Add in ground up Oats (grind your own in a blender)
Add some good fats (olive oil, flex seeds, natty PB)

High quality protein
High quality Carbs
High Quality fats

This will be cheaper and alot better than any commercial weight gainer which tend to be loaded with sugar
 
Like Easto said but i'll elaborate.

Here's what I have been using twice a day to put osme more meat on.

2 scoops of ice cram
3 tablespoons of pb
5 eggs
2 scoops of choc protein

blend :D over 1k cals... lots of protein, tastes good
 
Due to time constraints in the morning and not having a blender at work...i thought itd be best for me to invest in a weight gainer supp, for when i am away from the house. I bought Ultimate Nutrition ISO Mass XTREME Gainer. Vanilla ice cream, which tastes great with Orange gatorade. I will post updates every other week or so.
1 shake (3 scoops) = 940 cals; 16 g fat; 110 carbs, 5 g sugar; and 72 g protein.
 
what about Muscle Juice from Ultimate Nutrition? $27 bucks at bodybuilding.com. works well; those I know who take it love it. use 3 scoops instead of 4 and use milk to make it last full month if your budget is tight.
 
Make your own.

Protein powder
Oats or fruit
Fats (EVOO, Natty PB, etc)

You get the highest quality protein, carbs, and fat this way. No fillers.
 
I think by drinkning that much milk your going to get massive diareha.
your better off doing as easto suggets, that way you get slow and fast digesting carbs.
 
u ever try true mass by BSN, i used this for about 4 months and packed on some serious gains, was a really good weight gainer and all the reviews about it say just that, give it a shot and see how it goes
 
16oz Whole Milk
1 cup Oats
1 large banana
2 scoops chocolate whey
2 tbsp natural peanut butter

blend it up, put it in the freezer for like 15 minutes, blend it again for a couple seconds... its nice and thick like a milk shake and it tastes just as good
 
well, 2 full weeks of using ISO MAX XTREME; 2 shakes a day, one in the morning and one post workout, with 2 scoops each. i have gained a solid 12 lbs, and my strength has gone up considerably in all lifts. All clean solid gains as well, as i look more cut while bulkier at the same token. I will definitly be buying this product again in the future, despite the $75 price tag. great product!
 
12lbs i 2 weeks?


I guess you dont mind just getting fat cause thats certainly not 12lbs of quality muscle in 2 weeks.
