Weight loss

I've lost 60lbs in the last 8 months. It's because I've gone back to work as a framing carpenter, the problem is that I'm still losing weight. My weight is 155 at the moment I'm eating as much as I can but still the pounds are coming off. I'd like to get back to 185.
Does anybody have any ideas

Congrats on your weight loss, 60lbs is a good amount of weight to cut. What's happening here is your increased physical activity of being a framing carpenter has increased your activity factor and you're burning more calories during a normal day than before. Also since you don't mention specifics, one can only assume you're not tracking calories or macros and have not calculated out your TDEE (total daily energy expenditure). I recommend getting an accurate number for your maintenance calories with a TDEE calculator online, multiplying by an activity factor (for you probably 1.5 or more bc of physical job and hopefully serious weight training), and adding 10-20% more calories to bulk. If you still see no weight gain after 2wks, up the calorie intake by 200-300 and check again. Keep doing this until you start to gain weight. When you gain enough weight, you'll need to either up the calories again or recalculate your new TDEE which will be higher bc of more body mass. Another thing I suggest is posting up your full stats (including TDEE and macros), post up your diet, and the total calories and macros of the diet. This way ppl can actually give you some helpful critique on possible changes.

I had 3j set me up on plan and it has made me see the errors of my ways I would recommend looking him up on the forum he is the master:bowdown:

i agree with 3J. he will calculate the food requirements. also make sure youre drinking water. its going to boil down to 3 things: not enough intake, losing body fat, or not doing mass gain workouts. your muscle is not going to simply disappear unless you have some sort of medical condition as long as you are doing things right.

Thanks for the info, I definitely need to get more bulk intake. I work six days so just having one day off makes it hard to get anything done, I will look for 3j hopefully i can find him because i need some help. At the moment I'm eating a serial for breakfast, lunch all I can get into me, in the 5 mins we have for break. Is a box of fruit a few bananas and a few bags of nuts. For dinner I'll eat a big plate of pasta and meatballs and some pizza or something around 9 or 10 with a shake before I go to bed. That's all I have time for during the day to eat so it's not really surprising that the weights coming off.
Sorry for the late reply, I wasn't sure if anybody would get back to me- First thread

Oh boy so many holes in your diet my man. With that one day off you should prep your whole weeks meals. I fin that is the only way for me to keep my diet in check. Cut out the pizzas and minimize the pasta. Stuff your face with at least one chicken breast of tilapia every meal for 6-8 meals coupled with veggies and you will grow. If you can't find the time you will not gain weight.

There's no reason to eat 6-8meals per day if time is a problem for him. He can just as effectively get by with 2 or 3 provided they're isocaloric diets and the macro profile is the same.

Yeah I really don't have time to eat 6 -8 times a day, wish I could but it's all go on the job. 3 meals is about the best I can do! Before I came to Canada time wasn't a problem, that's why I was over 200 pounds but work in Toronto is mad. I'm lucky to get lunch in that's why it's so small there's only 5 min's to eat. I'll definitely start to prep food for during the week, get some chicken breasts and pasta in Tupperware containers would be best right?
I'm lifting heavy material all day, which has me ripped down to just muscle. I really can't afford to lose any more weight. If there's any more info I'm all ears.
Thanks guys
