as usual, it's diet, diet, diet. i hadn't been keeping scientific track of my diet, and when i sat down to analyze a week's worth of eating, what did i find? missed meals, meals at the wrong frequency, and in general too few calories, though the ratios were good. i have a hard time getting enough to eat at work.

what do you folks bring to work, in a typical day? suggestions on how to make it easier to eat during the day without buying lots of prepackaged (expensife) foods?

I've kinda always like Italian chicken or steak salads. They're pretty easy and healthy if you make your own dressing using good stuff. Just cook the chicken at home, chop it up, and put it on the salad when you're at work. For steak, cut up a steak into slices and fry it in a pan, then put it in a container. You could just take "spring mix" salad to work in a bag, and a little container for the dressing. Quick, easy, and yummy.

Yes, I'm with frost on the chicken and steak. I usually cook some chicken or steak, and cut it up and put them in individual containers.
I like Spinach salads with grilled chicken on it and red onion...mmmmmm.
Hard boiled eggs are easy and convenient too! :)

fyre how are hard boiled eggs easy. i must be the biggest dumb ass because i always have a hell of a time getting the shell off with out taking half the egg white with it. so ive ditched hardboiled eggs because of too much protein loss.

Do you put the eggs in cold water immediately after boiling them? That usually helps with the shell sticking problem...

make up a bunch of meals and put them in tupperware to bring to work. Examples-tuna salad, hard boiled eggs, sandwiches, par-cooked vegetables, cheese etc. I bring a small cooler to work and delve into it all day long. Try to bring a good variety of foods it makes keeping a good diet easier and more interesting. Milk is good to drink throughout the day, especially if you are bulking.

whole milk and hard boiled eggs my friend, just two eggs, and a couple glasses of milk and you've got yourself a meal. --- and it's easy to get down fast when your not supposed to be eating at work.
