Besides the having kids part, what are the downsides? there has to be some negatives-but i cant seem to find them.

hahaha-yea i dont know if their is a downside-i hope we can get this thread going-im def interested to hear what these guys have to say

ive been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for many many years and would be miserable without it. that being said i dont reccomend the hastle unless you really need it. i had major back surgery years ago and after numerous medical steroid shots post op my test shut down . the doctor said it was just a coincidence but i call bullshit. i tried self medicated post cycle therapy (pct) with little success and my priomary care doctor put me on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and after several blood test to regulate doseage im on 300 mg every other week prescribed. i take 150 mg every week injects to stabalize hormone levels.i dont remember my exact numbers but 300 mg keeps me in the middle of the normal range.

Oak, being on TRT/HRT doesn't mean you can't have kids. Sperm generation is a result of LH and FSH levels. I was on HRT for a year and was able to get my wife pregnant.

Normal sperm count is 20million ppm. Mine after a year of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) was 42million ppm.

I would agree the pinning every week is a PITA. but like granpa Dawg said, i would be lost without it.

thats MISTER GRANPA DAWG to you lol.

well, testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is for life. Once your natural test is gone for good, you gotta
replace it. To me, it's something else I gotta have in the medicine cabinet forever.
I don't like having that on my mind... being dependant on anything or anyone for
my own well being.

unfortunately, if your on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), you don't have a choice. lol

For those that have been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for a long time can you share any sides that you have had on the way?

I told my wife last night that Im pinning Test 250 every week and she was really cool about it, but she wanted to know if there were any long term sides. She also asked about hair loss with long term testosterone replacement therapy (TRT)? I didnt know how to answer her...... so I just told there that if done correctly and thru a doc....that there should not be any long term sides.

in theory legit testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dose put your body back to a normal test level so the sides shouldnt be different than those of a person who doesnt take testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and has the same test blood levels.

running your own testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) at a dose that keeps the test blood levels above normal levels may change that.

Dadawg, are you insinuating that Im running my own testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) without doctor supervision? Or are you just saying in general? I was put on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) by the Total Health and Rejuvenation Center in Florida. Im totally new to this so I dont know if 250mg per week is a little on the high side or not. If it is.... do you think that will keep my blood levels above 1200?

No, he's not saying that. That's why he mentioned both options. Legit and personal testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). Alot of people take a testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dose without doc supervision.

My question is, why are you not consulting your Health center about this? I saw you posted a thread about the company. Why even trust the company before you got involved? Seems a little irresponsible to me.

I do trust them enough to be pinning myself with what they gave me, but Ive always thought its a good idea to double check things and get second opinions (which is what Im doing on here). You guys seem pretty good and knowledgable and I respect yalls opinion. So I hope that explains things a little and changes your mind about me being irresponsible. I am learning more and more each day and really excited that I decided to get on TRT...... Im just ready for it to kick in now!

I have a customer that just started hormone replacement therapy and he's more than happy..He's using the time release pellets and he says his doctor is actually running everything but his copay through his insurance. Beats the people in FL my partner had a consult with..They were scammers. They did a phone consult followed by an office visit. They said he would be monitored and given prescriptions for whatever he needed, but a package that should have cost $300 was going to run him $1700.. He was supposed to pay the office and they would order the meds for him and mail them to him so they could skim their HUGE profit off the top. I threatened them with reporting them until they refunded us a $600 fee for the phone consult and office visit. jerks. I tried to call the FL agency to see what the legality was, but I kept getting transferred and hung up on.. Still don't know what exactly the regs are.

no offense bro, but this is what i mean by irresponsible. IMO double checks and second opinions should be done before you get involved with them.

Doesn't matter cause you like em and trust em. Just wanted to clarify for you.
