what do you know about accutane

ok well i am seriously thinking about going on accutane maybe in a month or so my (parents have seen it and want to help) anyways its expensive and dont want to use it if it will come back for sure i think it came in the first place becuse i was on for about 4 months then went off for about3 weeks and for some reason got back on it was just test cyp 500/w until the 3rd month i switch to enethate

1 will the acne come back if i use the same Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) i used before

2 can i cycle while running accutane or will that make it harder to go away

3 why did i get it and what can i do next time to help avoid it - like not be on as long, smaller doses, aromitise inhibitor,or anything

4 what steroids do not cause acne

During a cycle or puberty, rising hormone levels (primarily DHT but also testosterone itself) can cause the sebaceous (oil) glands of the skin to enlarge. The sebaceous glands secrete an nice oily substance we all know and love called sebum which empties onto the skin's surface through hair follicles. The cells shed more rapidly and stick together, plugging the opening of the hair follicles. The mixture of oil and skin cells helps the bacteria grow (yuck). The increased pressure within the clogged follicle causes the wall of the follicle to rupture. As a result, sebum, bacteria and shed skin cells escape into the surrounding tissue, forming papules, pustules and nodules that can be large and painful.

Didnt get the above? Ok basically DHT is the culprit and anything that converts to it will give you acne problems. A few other factors are involved but for many accuate is a viable way to really get the problem under control right at the glandular level. Im glad I ran accutane, my acne SUCKED and was scarring on my back and shoulders. 5 months of hell was all it took to pretty much "cure" the problem. I can now run grams upon grams of anything I want without much problem at all regarding acne.

I went on Accutane in high shcool. Bro, trust me, yo udont want this shit, it will make your lips so dry and chapped they bleed, and if your on it during summer it really sucks, you cant go out in the sun or anything. You get burned very easily. I would try everything, and if nothing works, then go for accutane, but the doc will start you something much more mild than accutane, and if nothing works, then that is the last step. And yes, it did work incredibly well.

I would agree with saunders. Talk to your doctor. Only consider using accutane as a last resort if and when all other treatments have failed. Accutane (although it most likely WILL solve your acne troubles) can have a plethra of unwanted side effects including drying out of the skin, hair loss, etc.

I've had great success with tetracycline (oral) and topical clindamycin/benzamycin. Granted, I didn't have the deep, cystic whole body acne, but these medications worked extremely well in my case with no unwanted sides.

well mines is erally bad on shoulders chest and all over the back probably more then a thousand oh them i am out in the sun every day trying to dry it up

so i am going to seriously think about runing aaccutane because as of right now i can go to the lake or pool partys or nothing and i kinda wante to show off the muscle a little bit lol
any other info on accutane would be much appreciated

I went on accutane in high school and the shit really fucked me up... it did work really well however one of the main sides is that i can affect your emotions... apparantly people get depressed real easily so bad they even mentioned to stop if i had suicidal thoughts.... something to think about considering gear can affect your emotions too... might be a bad combo... imo

yeah iv heard a few stories about people that commited suicide while running accutane, there was a guy from the uk that done it quite recently while on accutane actually, puts it into perspective when u think about it

People are statistically LESS LIKELY to commit suicide on accutane than they are if they have never taken it. RUMORS get perpetuated like a motherfucker.

Took accutane in high school and have never had a problem again... In accordance with the others though, it does suck: dry lips, sensitive to sunlight, slight mood swings for me(nothing major at all), and the WORST for me was TERRIBLE joint pain especially in my hips and shoulders. If nothing else works go for it but until you've tried it all I would hold up.

I am on it currently, works like a charm. Doc said it can take 2-3 times (at my weight) to completely get rid of it forever. Small price to pay, I have runned it once before and I am totally clear now, running it as a precaution mostly.

thanks for all input i think if it makes people want to kill them selves well they might of had problems before i mean i have mood swings when on tren but i know how to handle it just keep a smile on your face lol

ulter has recommended 20mg a day for 6 monthes or 40mg a day for 3. its supposed to clear it up for life. i will be giving it a try at the low dose in about 4-6 monthes. my skin is fairly clear of large zits but ive always had lots of blackheads and nothing will get rid of them.

1 out of 10 people get acne back within 1 year after using accutane.


I see no reason for not being able to use accutane with a cycle.

Accutane also has a negative impact on Cholesterol Serum Levels so thats something to bear in mind expecially if your planning on using anabolics

Also it is Harsh on the Liver and wouldnt advise taking any 17alpha alkylated Preperations if you use Accutane.

Try the tetracyclines and put alchahol(with cotton bud dont just start pouring vodka all over your back,your freinds might think your weird!) on the individual agrravated spots

and make sure you tan twice a week

Personally i steam and sauna every night,that keeps my skin clearer,tan and use tetracyclines!

and my backne has almost gone!

haha. Thing is accutane is not as bad as everyone are trying to make it sound like. This is a anabolic forum, I think most here dont care all that much about it.
Mg for mg "all" oral anabolics are much worse.

1mg per kilogram bodyweight for severe cycstic acne, 5-6 months therapy.

many will do fine on 0.5mg/kg bodyweight for maybe 4-5 months. 20mg/day is too little for anyone who has a need for accutane in the first place.
