What dose of arimidex should I do

OK, I started back up on Androgel 1.62 after stopping for one week. I was so tired on my second job at night. I was dead downstairs too, so I decided to get back on it. My total T before I started was 400. I was tested 6 years ago and it was 350. Where I noticed it most was in my sex drive. Apparently, this is just not enough for me, so I have accepted that I need TRT. Hindsight is 20/20 and I probably should have started back then. Anyways, my doctor suggested .5mg of arimidex EOD. I think this might be a little too high of a dose. I have been at this 5 months now, and I really haven't felt my libido improve. What does the experienced members think is a good dose. I am on 4 pumps of 1.62. I applied androgel yesterday and today, and haven't taken any arimidex. I took some cialis yesterday, and man did I feel it, albeit not until hours later. How will I know that my E2 is too high, without a blood test. Are there tale tale signs. I do have a appointment with my doctor on the 21st, and am asking him about injections. My doctor is on a compounded T cream that is mixed with Hcg. Is this a good option? Or should I just stay on the androgel?

If you are on the same gel dose and not taking any AI with E2 of 14, I can't see why you would add in an AI. That would just bring your E2 down even lower. Crashing your E2 is about the worst feeling in the world.

What is your TT at on that dose of gel? Many guys dont respond well to gels and do better with injections. Plus no risk of transfer to kids and women in your life.

Well, I dropped it to that level by taking 1mg doses of arimidex prior to that. That's when we changed the arimidex dose to .5mg. My Total T was 750 at two pumps. When I had my E2 tested is when the doctor upped the dose of androgel to 4 pumps. I might add, that I didn't know you were not supposed to apply the day of testing, so I don't know if the 750 is accurate. I'll know what my TT is on monday. I will post it when I find out.
