Hi, i am about 5'6 and 140 pounds and i work out on about 1 hour a day five days a week, what should be my daily intake of carbs, protein and so forth for good diet to loose weight. thanks
what do you do all day? very active? how old are you?
with such little information i can say eat 2000 kcal a day...140g of protien, maybe 40g of fat, make up the rest with carbs and drink 4 liters of water a day.

Why would you want to LOSE weight at only 140 pounds at 5'6"? How long have you been training for? What does your routine look like? Body fat estimate? Age?

Start a _good_ training program and INCREASE your caloric intake. Don't eat sugar and crap. Eat healthy. You will start to look BETTER and look like a man.
