Are you trying to keep on lean muscle and cut though? That's a different story.
 
Lean protein, complex carbs, green veggies, and healthy fats.

You lose fat eating at a caloric deficit. So basically eat less and move more. You want to eat every few hours though to keep your metabolism going. Under eating and starving can and will lead to fat gain.
