After the James Thompson fight it was quit evident that Kimbo needs to work on his ground game ALOT

Last nights fight was fucking retarded.

He literally couldn't have had a worse ground game.

Nelson could have mounted, got off, mounted got off, over and over. He had no defense at all.

When he was taken down he didn't even try to scramble.

How does a guy that's been in MMA for a couple years have such terrible BJJ.

His level is something I would expect from a 3 month white belt. By now, Kimbo should be atleast a blue belt skill level.

Kimbo definitely needs to work on his ground game. Total amateur. But I say the fight was called way to early. Those punches to the head were nothing. Ref should have stood them up again.

I agree. Those "punches" to the top of the head were stupid. If I was Herb Dean I wold have told Team Rashad, "Shut the fuck up, I can count." I also agree that Kimbo has learned less in his 2 years than one of my wrestlers knows in his first season. That shit is ridiculous. Granted, once Roy Nelson gets his fat ass on you and puts you in a crucifix, you're gonna need some man muscles to get out. But being put there twice was unacceptable.

I hope that that teaser at the end was BS because I wanted to see Mr. Jones fight more than anyone else, that nigga is HUGE.

Then he seems to have also taken on the cry baby role, that always one guy had in the early seasons, bad cardio or some injury.

Street fights arent MMA, Nelsons a fatass no doubt about that, but hes no joke, he did beat Frank Mir at the biggest JJ tournament in the world.

Totally agree with Roy being no joke. I knew he was gonna win and I thought it was gonna be worse than it was. He should take shit more seriously though. He markets that fat shit but he was a lot faster and in better shape a couple years ago. That Frank Mir BJJ match was such a good match too. He just outlasted Mir though. I would bet my yearly paycheck now on a rematch. I think Mir fucks his shit up now. It was a good grappling match though. It seemed like Mir might not have gotten too many "near submission" points, they are usually subjective but I thought his one armbar was definitely worthy. I agree completely. I dont know how he let himself go. he was overweight before but no where near where he is now. You would think after beating Mir a few years ago, and weighing less, that he would be a machine by now.

Im not impressed with his standup, I still think he would get his shit rocked by basically any heavy weight in the UFC right now
