Hyperplasia has never been shown in human muscles as far as I know. Regardless of training or drugs used.
The statement above says otherwise, is there any scientific literature that supports that claim? No, I'm not interested in what the IFBB pros do or don't do, or what someone thinks, only...
My answer or best guess to the original question is no.
More steroids equals more gains in muscle mass. Time off often equals a loss of those gains if you have gained a lot.
There is no evidence that you have to "clean" the androgen receptors or that they are desensitized or anything like...
I was doing steroids, HGH and insulin before you entered kindergarten. Seriously. What I have done and not is irrelevant.
Roush, I do think you have some valid points, I'm not rabid. But sceptical.

No.
I'm just a simple counterpart for all the states "facts" out there. This industry is full of it, whether there is supplements or other claimed enhancing products.

Well, not really, I do belive lots of stuff.
Like I said, some smart people as already looked in to this, many times. We are talking about people who is cutting edge in the human hormone systems and muscle growth. Not some random dude on the gym. I do not expect you to understand stuff like...
I do not expect to find much other then bro-science, my personal guess is because there is no such effects.
It's not that in has not been looked into by some pretty smart people. A very quick look shows that doses above 10 IU/day has not shown any positive results regarding muscle growth in...
Thanks, have you read those articels?
The first article by Velloso states:
and
and
I would say that this article clearly stats that I assume, high doses of exogenous HGH and IGF-1 does not result in more muscle growth.
The second one I can not see any claims that elevated IGF-1 levels is...
Sorry, it does not need to be that. English is not my native language.
But my question is the same then, can someone post any hard facts that elevated levels produce more muscle growth in healthy adults? Text book material or not. I would be very glad to see it.
/Bruce
Can you please post any text book material that shows that exogenous IGF-1 is building muscle. I'm not talking about endogenous IGF-1, tought that was obvious.
/Bruce
Thanks 49ER.
Do you mean different humans and makes all the differenser as in muscle growth? Or some other game changer as fat burning qualities etc?
Strange that its never shown any such differences in scientific litterature.

Interesting thread.
As far as I know, there is zero scientific evidence that either HGH or IGF-1 stimulates muscle growth in healthy adults. Yes,all the pro BBers will say another thing but I do think that it's some what difficult do separate the effect of HGH/IGF-1 from 3 g of test, 1 g of...
At his weight and hight he could probably do better in the long run if he did smaller doses this early in his lifting carrer.
But there is many guys doing, in the internet forum world, crazy doses. As long as he is monitoring his health (he does not seem to do that however) he won't die this...
Remeber that if you have lets say a 10 ml bottle and you draw exactly to the 1 ml mark in the syringe 10 times it's not going to be enough.
Dependent on which needle and syringe you have some of it will be lost, 5-10% is not uncommon.
