During my initial treatment attempts, one of the docs prescribed Clomid instead of Test cyp. I don't recall the Clomid dosage, but that raised my total testosterone level to the same level as I achieved when I was injecting 100 mg of Test cyp once per week. The nice thing about the Clomid was...
I'm using IMT's services and they indicate that my SHBG level is less than ideal and that it rises and falls with E2 levels. Also mentioned that an AI can suppress SHBG.
I got my labs back and here is the info on SHBG:
Sex Horm Binding Glob, Serum 23.6 (range 16.5-55.9 nmol/L)
I'll now switch from weekly injections to very 3.5 days, and I'm also going to stop using an AI to let my estrogen get a little higher in hopes of raising SHBG.
Yes, I'm sure the protein powders and bars are vegan. I didn't go vegan just so I can call myself a vegan and I don't hate meat eaters. It's a personal choice for me, both from an ethical and health standpoint, but what anybody else does is none of my business as long as it doesn't negatively...
I said I'd start a new thread, but fuggit, I'll hijack this one anyway. Sorry GboyTee.
Here you go 3J, thanks for your input. Keep in mind this is a lifelong diet so it varies quite a bit. I don't pay attention to micros or macros, I just try to eat as clean as possible without obsessing...
Sure. Do you want the salad or beans and rice I brought for lunch? :)
*Edit: I'll do a writeup of my typical daily meal plan and start a new thread. I don't want to completely hijack this thread. Oh, and the hypogonadal symptoms started loooong before I went vegan. The switch to a cleaner diet...
As much as possible. Vegan diet for the past few years (plenty of protein), no depression, I keep stress as low as possible. I think the only place I fall short is exercise. I'm just too damned fatigued to workout hard, but I do as much as I can muster.
True, but if one addresses any lifestyle/diet/psychological issues, and short of a different diagnosis that would explain the symptoms, it seems to leave few options.
I'm getting my SHBG tested on Monday. My original TTL was at 200 (I think the range was 300-800-ish if I remember correctly). Currently taking 180mg of test once per week and my last TTL was at 633 (range 348-1197), blood drawn at 8am, just before my scheduled weekly injection.
Really? It...
I'm coming up on one year of TRT and it hasn't done anything for my symptoms. The docs can't find anything else wrong with me, so it looks like I'm one of the unlucky ones.
Maybe you're right and I just allowed myself to be duped by everything I've read, which indicated that 4-8 weeks after the start of treatment I'd be feeling better. Feeling like superman was never one of my expectations, I just wanted to stop feeling like walking roadkill. I was just so stoked...
Mostly quads, sometimes delts. I don't do glutes because my wrists are damaged and I can't get a good angle due to lack of range of motion. I have to inject slow and steady, because that way I can feel when I'm approaching a nerve. I tried the dart method, but that sucked, because I'd go...
It was at 20.9 (range 7.6-42.6 pg/mL sensitive) on 07/07, so that wasn't the issue. Free test is in the normal range, but slightly lower than expected at my dosage. A recent increase in test cyp dosage bumped my E2 slightly above range, but I'm adding an AI this week to alleviate that. All the...
