I try to eat the majority of my carbs in the morning meals and postworkout. Don't like eating a lot of carbs before bed because in the morning I feel sluggish and can't get a good meal in for breakfast.
If you are an athlete for your school the testing may be different depending on who administers it. The school may be just testing for narcotics but if the ncaa administers it, it will be a more comprehensive test covering banned substances including steroids.
Ya it does work but it is a temporary fix. I had a partially torn hip labrum and had to get a few shots in my hip but if you keep using that muscle it is just doing more damage to it and the pain will come back if you are not letting it heal and rehab.
