Well the point of an IM shot is to release the test slowly. If you did inject into a vein (not saying you did, but just as a scenario) then you might have an initial spike in test rather than a slow release.

Sounds like a Vasovagal Response. Basically some trigger (like venipuncture or even a shot) causes a malfunction in the part of the nervous system which regulates your heartbeat and blood pressure. Your heartbeat decreases and blood pressure drops, causing loss of blood to the brain...

Some RN's leave 0.2 to 0.5 ml of air in the needle to prevent seepage. Air is probably more concerning when dealing with intravenous medications.

TJ All the bros agree to add 5 mL of BW to your Hcg. Which will give you a concentration of 1000 iu per 1 mL. Same as saying 1000iu per cc. If you do the math then .25 ml is 250 units. You need a SUB-Q pin for precise measure. Like an insulin pin.
