I was just wondering where you got the ratio's from, IMO they are a little high and I have never read anything that talks about HDL:LDL ratio. So if it was a recent article I would like to read it.
DirkMoneyshot, what "risk" are you talking about. If it is the risk of cardiovascular disease there are much more important factors than Cholesterol levels. I would look at CRP and homocysteine levels and the size of the lipoprotein molecules.
Also I was wondering where you got your ratio's...
On a standard lipid panel it should include LDL, HDL, trigycerides, and total cholesterol:HDL ratio. I have never seen a HDL:LDL ratio on a lab report.
Optimally you will want your HDL to be over 50 and your LDL as low as possible.
If you are going to take red yeast rice I would recommend a Co-Q10 supplement with it also. It depletes your body of co-Q10 just like the statin drugs do.
Here are some things you can use to change your lipid levels:
Immediate release niacin will raise HDL
Slow release niacin will lower LDL
pantethine is good for everything
Policosanol is also good for everything
I would stay away from the niacin products if your liver enzymes are already high. JMO
It sounds like it's over stimulation of your gallbladder which is releasing too much bile. Fats are the main thing which stimulate the gallbladder.

you have to remember that you willl hold water on DNP so you may be actually losing fat, but just holding more water. Some people say they hold as much as 4-5 lbs of water and it takes 2-5 days for you to lose all the water.

I took accutane while on cycle with no problems. I started at 40mg/ED was when the derm took me off I was at 160mg ED. I was on accutane for about 3.5 months. I used Winstrol (winny), test, and tren with no problem with kidney or liver values. It did increase my cholesterol though.
