I used to donate once a quarter. A pint each time. Now I just drain myself every couple of months. I fill up a 12 ounce bottle so that's about just under a pint. If you monitor your CBC panel you should be able to gauge the increases. Basically get a CBC panel and then donate blood, then next day get a CBC panel again. You only need to do this once, then you can see what % it drops.

Without blood work, its safe to donate a pint every 2 to 3 months.
