yeah I know but I am trying to do this through insurance and not cost me ****no price discussion allowed**00 bucks a year. It seems it is either a high cost option or go through ensure and deal with all the BS that goes with it.
sounds like you are going through the same run around i had.. primary doc gave my 100mg per month and would not increase it even when i was tested under 200. dropped off it and got a new Doc, h wanted a sleep study.. months went by with nothing. i was busy and lost track.. called and they said...
so here is what they gave me. testosterone cyp 200 mg/ml 100 mgs every other week. I have read i should get that every week but since i am going though insurance and all i will follow their lead. i have to get a blood text in 3 months to check levels.. hopefully they will bump it up..
god what...
ok 7 months later I got an appointment with an endocrinologist. he said, lets do you labs (again!! another hundred out of my HSA) and a sleep study.. (probably gonna beat my HSA up by 800 bucks)
Doing the sleep study tonight.. my labs came back total T is 160, free is 33.4.. hopefully this...
*********Called multiple dr in the area.. all say i have to come in for the shots... or they will see me just to refer me... what a pain in th ass
my last tesst was t was 140 and est was 30..the person on the phone did not know what i was asking...
getting annual physical labs done this week. physical on the 1st. I will attempt to have a rational conversation with this Nurse Practitioner that is my PCP. she just wants to do 1 ML of 200 every 4 weeks at the office... that means two hours off work and 40 bucks a shot....
To who ever (moderator?) put this "##### Sounds like you just have fears that are common with the stigma associated with TRT ######"
that is not the case. I was all set to go with the 4x a month shot of T but people here said get the HCG and the AZ and this doctor will not prescribe that.
I am...
Anyone know of a good clinic in the Nashua NH or Worcester Ma area? I went to a Dr recommended by a compounding pharmacy but after reading items here I am a little leery to do TRT the way they prescribed it.
Thanks
##### Sounds like you just have fears that are common with the stigma...
Talked to the Dr and they wont dont the HCG and they wont do the anastrozole unless follow up lab work calls for it
I am thinking of not even filling the perscription and keep looking..
Suggestions?
doing more looking and finding more things.
I only have an Rx for T not the rest... should I write off the 150 i spent on that appointment and look further?
