150mg/week is probably just enough to replace what you produce naturally. At 5'10" and only 150lbs, it sounds like you really need to work on your diet considering you've been lifting for six years - Two of those years being consistent.
Post up your diet.

He is at a stand still because he's doing something wrong. I would start with his diet, if that's in check, which I'm assuming not, then I would look into his training..
