Latest labs
TT 627
LH 4.1
FSH 3.6
E2 non sensitive 26.2
Everything on the CBC and ********* panel were normal
So looks like there will be no TRT for me. Kind of bummed because low T explained so many of the symptoms I've had for the last few years.
Hi IMT can you give me your thoughts on my labs here

Oh just as an fyi to anyone who might read this that wants to reduce coffee/caffeine. I bought some Teessino caffeine free herbal coffee alternative. Most of the amazon reviews were good and said it tasted just like coffee. They lie! It is horrible.
The other thing I did was cut way back on caffeine as the Doc told me. I was drinking two 20oz starbucks coffees a day (sometimes more). According to various websites that was 830 mg per day. I think at the time of the labs I had cut back to one at the most so 415 mg. Now I'm down to 2-3 cups of...
I didn't change anything between the doc's labs and the latest labs. The morning after I had the latest labs drawn I went to the gym and started the diet. So I'm clueless as to what is going on. When I called my wife and told her the results she said "You've got to be kidding".
Well I had been...
So I guess my next step is to get my thyroid checked out. My wife thinks my urologist will kick that over to the pcp I'm seeing on the 27th. Until then I'm pressing on with diet, exercise, & proper sleep. Starting to feel better, not great, but better. Hopefully lifestyle changes will get things...
Thought I'd put all the labs in one post instead of looking back through the thread

Finasteride (propecia,proscar)
I was just researching this last week and found this study
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10495374
Amazing that doses way lower than the 1mg in propecia still drop DHT significantly. Maybe taking a very low dose would be the way to avoid the limp noodle people...
I'm going to talk to my urologist about that. I'll see what he has to say or if he has experience/knowledge with restarts. If not I'll talk to my new PCP the following week.
Yeah it's been a grind to hit the gym the past 2 mornings but I'm going to stick to it. Last 2 nights I've helped myself...
Hey Megatron, thanks for all your help!
I went back and read the TRT overview and one of the links took me to the artofmanliness blog where the guy doubled his T through diet/exercise. So I've decided to get serious about diet, exercise, and getting proper sleep and give it a few months before...
What type of Docs have you seen? internists, gp, urologist, etc.
I would think taking your lab work to a urologist and focusing more on your lack of libido would be the way to go. He's not going to have you strip down for a full physical. He'll just have you drop your pants for a minute while...
After reading about it more I think I'll bring it up with the Doc. Is there an article or thread on here that clearly describes the restart procedure?
I found this article which makes sense
shiramillermd.com/bioidentical-hormones-doctor.html
but I think she's talking about a permanent...
I've read it, I just forgot about the panels...I have low T lol.
They already sent me the req so I'll just stick with what I ordered. Everything else on the panel will get tested next month when I see the PCP.
