Hi my Name is Nate, I've been a long time lurker and a former customer of 3J. about 4-5 years ago I was doing a lot of research and considering my first cycle. I didn't end up doing a cycle, I did go with 3J and got some awesome results. I am 42 years old and the last 2 years I haven't eat clean nor worked out, I had lost all motivation, I had my labs drawn in may and my TT was 215, my Doc reordered labs for test and thyroid, I came back Low T again. I am no expert but I have done enough research to know that the protocol my dr. has put me on is not right. currently he has me on 200mg per month, yes just one injection every month, I understand half-life's and all that but my doctor is insisting on keeping me on 200 mg per month for at least three months, he said as long as my levels hit 300 that's all he would prescribe. he obviously knows very little about TRT. I am going to see another Doctor on Tue that I was referred to saying he knows about TRT. I guess my question is, should I skip there PCP doctors and look into some kind of specialist, I have confirmed low t and my insurance is covering my injection given in the office, so the shot of 200mg test cyp is only $*****NO PRICE DISCUSSION ALLOWED*****per injection, pretty cheap imo. The problem is my doctor. any advice?

200mg of testosterone per month just aint right.
you would be better off at 200mg per week. Please share your last bloods here so we can see your levels.
I say you contact IMT and get profesional guidance as your doc does not know much about trt and is only looking to bleed your wallet dry.

COMPONENT YOUR VALUE STANDARD RANGE
Testosterone, TOTAL 215 ng/dL 250 - 1100 ng/dL
Testosterone free 34.2 pg/mL 35.0 - 155.0 pg/mL
thank you for the reply

They're going to want E2, LH, FSH and anything else you got tested. Hopefully the doc tested more than just test. lol

In my opinion, it's hard to find a PCP that will handle any form of HRT, and if they do, they don't know shit about it.

I would find a local doc that specializes in HRT, BioTE or something in that realm. There are plenty of these docs around now.
