Hi all,

I am 21 y/o weigh 87 kilos and want to get rid of my fat, I am in two minds whether to aim for going all out muscle or just looking toned, but regardless I want to get rid of my belly, the fat on my back and legs, currently I train 3 times a week doing weights / lifting at the gym, and swim twice a week and I really enjoy it. My diet consists of porridge on a morning, chicken and rice at lunch and steak / veg or chicken on a night time, I really enjoy my diet and training programme, I feel really good and it's going well, but I am not achieving my goals quick enough. The person I train with is older than me (50 y/o) and takes Anavar, he recommends that to me and I am keen to listen to him as he is in FANTASTIC shape.

I know it's not the healthiest option but at the moment my image takes over my life, I know it's not SO bad and people have it a lot worse but I am like a 12 year old girl when it comes to it, I feel shit all the time and I want to get rid of the rubbish the quickest way possible.

What do you guys recommend I do, any help or advise will be appreciated any at all, and sorry if this is in the wrong section or anything as you can see I am very new to the forum (which looks great by the way) so please bare with me whilst I get the jist of things

Thanks v much hope someone can help!

what does LF mean? Are you a male or female? Sorry, but i can't tell.

Regardless of your sex, Anavar won't do anything to cut fat. Diet is what burns fat, not drugs. And you may enjoy your diet, but it sucks. You need to eat more often.

How tall are you?

Sorry, I am a male, 5'10

So you are saying I should eat more than the 3 meals a day I eat now? How should I change my diet to get rid of the fat and also, I should completely rule out Anavar? Would this go AGAINST me wanting to lose my gut? thanks for your help man

yes, Anavar won't do shit for losing bodyfat. You need to adjust your diet. First thing by adding more food daily to increase the metabolism.

Get over to the diet forum and post your diet and info in this thread http://www.steroidology.com/forum/diet-forum/153271-free-diet-advice-3j.html

3J will help you set up a basic plan to get you on the right path.

+1

There is no magic pill/drug or anything else. Get your diet in order and listen to 3J and you'll be on the right track.

Just jumping on the train and agreeing with what's already been said.

Supplements and steroids sound like an easy way out, but I promise you'll be disappointed if you try and go that route. Even if you did manage to lose weight through either of these methods, you still wouldn't know how to diet properly and would therefore put all the weight back on.

Cardio will help. But diet is key to loosing fat. You need to get your metabolism to speed up. You do that by eating more freaquently during the day.
So you would want to eat at least 6x/day.
You also need to know how many calories your are consuming. There are several free calorie logs/counters online. One good one is fitday.com.

i personally think if you're over 14-15% BF macros are irrelevant but its a good start if you are inexperienced with proper nutrition.
