Been doing 5x5 for flat bench, and I finally peaked out. Was moving up every time I did chest except for my last work out.
225lbs
1 set X 5
2 set X 5
3 set X 4 (spot to get 5)
4 set X 3 (spot to get 4-5)
5 set X 1 (spot to get 2-5)
Every other time I was able to complete all 5 sets without a spot. Now my question is should I attempt the same weight next workout, or should i try 3X8....Thanks for your advice.
