Been on Clomid now for 6 weeks at 25 mg eod. Feel like a new man and very happy with the results. I know it doesn't work for everyone but I have to say if you are younger this is worth the shot. These labs were taken 48 hours from last dose first number is before treatment.

TT (270-1070) 247 881
FT (48.2-169.6) 42.6 155
Bioavailable T (113-397) 93.1 357.2
E2 (0.0-39.8) 11.8 29
LH (1.5-9.3) 1.8 2.5
SHBG (17.3-65.8) 41.5. 47.8

Now going to taper down over next 6 weeks and hope it holds.

looks good!
Tell us your background, how old r you...any previous cycles that lead to low T ?

Thanks. I'm very happy it is working so far. I can honestly say I am not ready for a lifelong commitment to trt. I am 36 and no previous cycles. Pituitary was clear. Not really sure what led to the low t.

Have you looked into getting a sleep study done, many people have sleep apnea without realizing they do which can have a very negative affect on your T levels?

How have you felt whilst on the clomid? I've read some stories of people feeling utterly miserable and depressed on it.

I feel great. The only side effect I had was for the first week and that was just gas. I have my drive back mental fog is gone and libido is good.

Wow, that's great. I'm glad that it worked for you. I'm definitely going to push my doc to try a restart, as at 24 it would be great if that's all I needed. I might even use your thread as evidence.

Sounds good. No hot flashes ? although your dose is low...
I've seen standard protocol at 50 mg EOD...but if it works for you it's good.
Clomid is not really a long term method for TRT.
Your doc more than likely will tell you to discontinue this after 3 months and go from there...

Thanks. I just hope it holds. Erections and libido are great. Morning wood every morning no hot flashes.

Ask your doc how long he plans to allow you to run it. I've heard of a lot of Endo's prescribe it for a period of 3 months and if it elevates the T levels, then they make you go off it(assuming they have fixed the problem).
That's the problem I hear with some Endo's. One told me to take it for 3 months and then off it.
I'm totally hypogonadal and my body can't even produce T in the normal range on it's own.
Hopefully you have a good doc and one that won't put you through hell.

My doc is not an endo. He is part of a seven doctor practice that specializes in mens health issues ranging from ed, low t and infertility. I am tapering the dose over the next six weeks from three times a week to once a week. I will get blood after being off for a week and then again a few weeks after that. If it holds great if not I will explore other options. Everyones experience is different and quite honestly too many people take what they read on the internet and get things in their head which causes their treatment to fail before it ever has a chance to work.
